Quick review:
This satire of gay dating will ring true for many gay men. It has all the elements that we're all familiar with, including the unreturned phone calls and the lies we tell each other, even though we're pretty sure the other guy knows we're lying. Christopher is a shallow lawyer with a great body roaming through one meaningless encounter after another. He's not happy, but none of the men he meets interests him enough to seek a relationship. Then he meets Stewart, whose recovering from a bad breakup and a boyfriend who cheated on him constantly. Perfect setup. Now that Christopher has found the relationship he wanted, can he give up the meaningless encounters? Can Stewart fall in love with a man who sleeps around a lot after what his previous boyfriend did to him? There's your drama. It's an average film with some pretty cute guys. You get the gay movie cliches, including the slutty gay friends and the fag hag. The one thing that annoyed me with this film was the insertions of Christopher talking to the viewers about what's in his head. It's overused. Other than that, this satire has some bite and lots of muscles to admire.
